Age Verification

How old do I have to be to purchase vape products? 

To purchase any nicotine containing products you must be over the age of 18. Due to this we have implemented an age verification process on our website.


How do I verify my age?

After you place your first order with us we will attempt to automatically verify your age using the details you've provided. We use a 1Account pop-up if we need any further information from you. If you miss the pop-up you will receive an email from 1Account reminding you to verify your age. If you encounter any issues don't hesitate to contact us at support@royalflushvape.co.uk

Batteries and Safety

 

How do I charge my batteries?(External batteries)

When you've splashed out for an external battery device, you'd like to think it charges the same as the in-built battery devices. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

Charging 18650/21700 batteries requires a bit more work than you'd like. You can plug them in at the wall however, this can cause the batteries to overheat, drain faster and not charge correctly.

The best way to charge these types of batteries is by getting yourself a Battery Dock. These devices are specially made to preserve the life/charge of a battery and, the added bonus? You can charge them overnight!

How do I charge my device?(Internal batteries)

Charging your vape seems as simple as plugging it in and leaving it for a few hours but sadly, it's not that simple.

E-cigarette batteries are a lot more sensitive than your standard phone or tablet. Using a USB Plug, you need to make sure the power output is around 5 volts/1 amp in order to make sure you don't damage, drain or reduce the battery capacity. The same goes for using chargers designed for other products.

In an ideal situation, we would recommend plugging the USB into a port on a Laptop, Console or TV to ensure that it is getting the correct amount of power.

For the length of charge time, until it reaches 100% is perfect. Do not charge the devices overnight! This can be detrimental to the battery and can cause the device irreparable damage that is not covered by the warranty.

There are devices available that are compatible with Fast Chargers but please always check your device before you charge them.

How do I know which battery to get?

Certain devices require an external battery to be able to run. These will need to be bought separately from the device however, this does mean that you can swap the battery should they start depleting.

If you ever don't know which batteries to buy with your device, check the product description. There you'll have all the information for your device as well as which batteries are required for it.

Is my battery safe to use?

Checking your batteries for wear and tear is one of the easiest ways to notice that something is wrong. If you see any slight ‘nicks’ or scrapes on your battery wrap, then it’s strongly advised to re-wrap or replace them (or the damaged one at least). If your battery has bulges, warm spots, or any holes, please take the necessary precautions before using it again.

If you ever think a battery is not safe for use, we recommend that you don't take the risk and do not use it.

What is the difference between External and Internal Batteries?

Internal battery: An internal battery means the battery is built into the device and cannot be removed. Normally, you'd charge these by plugging the device and charging it this way.

External battery: An external battery means the battery can be removed, replaced, and charged through a battery charging dock. External batteries come in many different formats but the most popular ones for devices are 18650's, 20700's and 21700's.

Always check which battery your device can use.

 Coils and Tanks

How do I make my coils last longer?

When it comes to making your coil last longer, there are many different ways to preserve their life. While we do have a deeper dive into the subject on our blog, here are a few major ones to keep you going for now:

  • E-liquid choice: Choosing a sweet, sugary flavour will cause your coil to burn out a bit faster than usual. If that's your preferred flavour, maybe try an Ice-y one. The menthol will help reduce the impact the sweeteners are having on your coil.
  • Priming the coils: Try and avoid any fancy techniques to prime your coil. We have more help available with priming coils on our FAQ and Blog but for a quick summary, fill up the device with e-liquid and leave it to sit for a minimum of 5 minutes.
  • Following the recommendations: When using the coils, check the recommended power settings for the coils. You can normally find these on the packaging or on the coils directly.   • Keep your tank filled: Letting the E-liquid drop below the cotton will cause the coil to burn out much faster. Avoiding these dry hits will help your coil lifespan massively!
  • Avoid Chain-Vaping: Chain vaping (taking multiple vapes in quick succession) can create additional strain on your coils. The main reason behind this is the fact that the wick cannot keep up with the volume, which in turn will cause you to vape on an under-saturated coil which can cause a burnt taste and dramatically decrease the lifespan of your coil.

How do I prime a coil?

Priming a coil is the action of letting the liquid soak into the cotton prior to use, to make sure that when you use it, you are getting the full flavour of your liquid. This also helps to avoid prematurely burning your coil.

The most effective way is to fit your coil, fill your tank/pod and leave the device to sit and soak for 5 minutes.

There are other ways to prime a coil, but all pose a risk of dry spots, flooding or not soaking correctly. All of which, are one-way tickets to a dead coil.

How often should I change my coil?

On average, a coil will last for anywhere between 5-14 days, this can depend on the wattage you are using with your device and the kind of e-liquid that you have in your tank or pod.

Changing your coil will not only improve your quality of vapour but also help keep your device functioning correctly.

The first tell that your coil is going will be the flavour disappearing and being replaced with a cotton-y taste. Then you’ll start tasting burnt metal and it’ll be harsh on your throat. This is when you’ll need to change the coil, Always allow a new coil at least five minutes to prime before using it.

My Coil is Spitting at me, What do I do?

This is a case of a flooded coil. This means e-liquid has gotten onto the internal metal piece of the coil. To remove this, place a piece of tissue over your mouthpiece and shake the device. You’re going to want to shake the device relatively hard to make sure you remove all the liquid.

If you’re still getting liquid coming through, it may be an issue with the coil. Try changing the coil, filling your device, and leaving it to sit. If you’re still struggling, check the wattage on your coil & see if it’s running correctly.

What do the different resistances mean on the coils?

Coils are available in many different resistances. The resistance you choose to use will impact which power setting or wattage you’ll need to set your device to. If you prefer a lower wattage, you’ll need a higher resistance coil. If you’d rather have a higher wattage, you’ll need a lower resistance coil.

Your resistance choice will also affect which liquid type you can use.

If you want to use a lower power/higher resistance coil, you’ll be restricted to using thinner (50VG/50PG) liquids.

While using a higher power/lower resistance coil will mean you can use thicker (70VG/30PG) liquid.

A rule of thumb to use is “The lower the resistance, the higher the power. The higher the power, the thicker the liquid”.

What is Variable Wattage?

Variable wattage is a feature found on most devices. This is how you can change the power setting on your device (watts). With more power, comes a faster burn rate, more vapour and a higher temperature. But you will always need to set your wattage to be within the settings of the coil you’re using.

If you don’t know what wattage you need to be running at, have a look at the coil itself. Written on the side will be the resistance of the coil and its best wattage range. For example, a 0.3ohm PNP coil will run between 30w – 40w.

Another way to find the correct wattage is to check the box for the coils. It’ll be written on there too.

For newer devices, the device has a "Smart Mode" which will automatically set the wattage to be inline with the coil you're using.

What kind of Tank do I need?

There are a lot of different tanks out on the market and sometimes, it can be quite daunting. With that, we've tried to simplify your choices into two different types - Mouth To Lung (MTL) and Direct To Lung (DTL/DL)

If you prefer a Mouth-to-Lung draw, want to use 50VG/50PG e-liquids, or would prefer less vapour & a tighter draw, you’ll need to use a lower-powered tank.

Which coils do I need?

If you ever have any doubt about what coils you need for your device, there are a few tricks you can use to figure out which one you will need.

  • You can use the name of your device or tank with “coils” placed after in our search bar and your coils will come up

For Example: If you search Zeus Coils (The Geekvape Zeus Tank), the Z Coils will come up.

  • If you remove your current coil, you can see the name of it on the side, as well as the resistance you’ll need.

For Example: If you remove any SMOK Coil, the name of the coil and its resistance can be seen on the side.

  • If you can find your device on our website, you will see the coils that fit the device listed below.

All our device descriptions will contain the coils that are required for the device, normally with a link to them available on our website.

All it takes is signing up on our website! It is free to join and all existing Royal Flush account holders are automatically enrolled. 

How do I redeem my points?
Log into your account and visit the “Rewards” section of the loyalty page.If you have enough points saved up you can exchange them for rewards.

What do the Royal Flush point statuses mean?
Approved: your points are ready to redeem 
Pending: your points are awaiting verification. This often happens in the case of new purchases and referrals. 
Cancelled: There has been a problem adding your points to your account. For example, when a purchase is cancelled.

Delivery enquiries

Do Royal Flush Vapes deliver internationally?
Royal Flush Vapes are an EU IOSS member, offering direct-to-door shipping internationally. We also cover the VAT for orders under £150, meaning customers avoid customs delays or VAT to pay on delivery. Our orders are shipped using Royal Mail International or Parcelforce Euro Priority (GLS) with full tracking, insurance, signature on delivery, inflight delivery updates and pre-paid import duty. 

Unfortunately we are currently unable to ship to Italy, Germany, Hungary, and the United States due to issues at customs. Please contact our support team if you have problems ordering to your country.

Can I change the shipping address after confirming my order? 
Yes, just contact our customer care team asap and they will sort it out for you. You can reach Customer Care via live chat or at support@royalflushvape.co.uk. However, please note if your order has already been dispatched we unfortunately cannot change any addresses or edit other details.
 
Why can't I see my shipping details even after my order has been confirmed?
Sometimes it can take some time for orders to be picked up by our warehouse operatives. If you still haven't received your order 48 hours after confirmation, contact us via live chat or email support@royalflushvape.co.uk, and one of our team will investigate. To speed things up, please have your 6 digit order number ready, The order number can be found on your confirmation email.

What can I do if my order is returned to sender?
 If your order is marked as RTS(return to sender) please contact our Support team asap. We will then contact the courier. Contact our support team at Support@royalflushvape.co.uk.


Do Royal Flush Vapes offer same day delivery?
We offer same day dispatch on any products ordered before the cut off time. Our cut off times may vary:  Monday to Friday our cut off time for same day delivery is 4:00 pm. On Saturday and Sunday and on Bank Holidays the cut off is at 12-noon.


An item is missing from my order, who do I contact?
Our skilled warehouse operatives are very thorough when packing orders, verifying the barcodes of products at both the picking and packing stage. On the rare occasion an item is missing please contact us via live chat or by emailing support@royalflushvape.co.uk, and we will investigate and send any missing items out to you. Please note it will take a minimum of 24 hours to investigate missing items.


What happens to my same day order if I am not home?
If you realise you will not be home when your delivery arrives, contact our Customer Care team before 4:30pm that day to arrange an alternative delivery date/ time.


Where is my same day delivery order?
Our delivery window for same day dispatch is from 4-8pm. If you still haven't received your delivery by 8pm, please contact our Customer Care team via live chat or email them at support@royalflushvape.co.uk.

Royal Flush Vapes have partnered with Klarna, offering a reliable and safe way to defer payment for your order. 
How does 30 days to pay work?
With Klarna you don't have to wait until payday to make your next order, you have up to 30 days after shipping to make your payment, or you can split payment into 3 instalments.

How can I pay in installments?
When you split your payment into 3 installments with Klarna, you can spread the cost of your order over three months. We automatically take payment every 30 days, starting from when your order is confirmed. Like with 30 days to pay, paying in installments requires no credit checks, and has no fees or interest attached.

Is Klarna safe and secure?
Klarna's buyer protection policy ensures your details are safe, whilst using safeguards to prevent any unauthorised payments. Klarna is a great way to spread the cost of your favourite products.

Refund policy 

Can I return unwanted items?
If you change your mind about an item you've ordered, it is eligible for return within 30 calendar days from the date you received it.

For us to accept a return it must be unused, in the same condition as you received it, and in its original packaging.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will then refund you the full cost of the returned item(s) excluding the delivery cost. Please note that a 10% restocking fee may also apply in some cases.

Royal Flush Vapes advises you to send any return goods using a tracked label, using suitable, secure packaging as Royal Flush Vape does not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged goods.


You will be liable for any costs incurred returning the item(s) to us.

Please Note: All returns must be approved via our support team. Unauthorised returns will not be processed.


If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund for the item (plus any shipping costs incurred for faulty items) to your credit card (or original method of payment) within 30 days. You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

What do I do if an item is faulty?

In the event that you receive a faulty item please contact us via our live support chat or email support@royalflushvape.co.uk within 48 hours and a member of our team will resolve the issue by approving a return, exchange or refund.


As part of the returns process, we may ask some questions about the faulty item for troubleshooting or alternatively give recommendations on the use of the product to cut down the need for unnecessary returns. We ask that you please remain patient and assist our support staff with as much detail as possible.


If a fault occurs with an electrical item within 6 months of the purchase date we will always offer you either an exchange or refund. If any returned goods are deemed not to be faulty or the fault is caused by misuse, accidental damage or wear & tear a refund/exchange will not be issued and you will be liable for any costs incurred returning the goods to us.
Please note we cannot accept returns where the product has been damaged either accidentally or intentionally and/or due to normal wear and tear. All returns must be approved via our support team. Unauthorised returns will not be processed.
When your return is approved, we will initiate a refund for the item (plus any shipping costs incurred for faulty items) to your credit card (or original method of payment) within 30 days.


USB charging ports
Our 30 day warranty does not apply to damaged USB charging ports.


Coils/atomisers
Atomisers (replacement coils) are a consumable part of your electronic cigarette, meaning they have a limited lifespan depending on many factors. We do accept returns on replacement coils that are DOA (dead on arrival) but you must inform us of this within 48 hours of receipt.
After receiving your returned coils we will inspect them as set out in the damaged item terms above. If the coil is defective, we will replace the item and refund any costs incurred.
Please note that any misused or burnt coils are not eligible for refund as this is a consumable part and falls under the users responsibility.

Replacement pods
Replacement pods are not covered under warranty as they are a consumable part with a limited lifespan.


Eliquids Damaging Plastic Vape Tanks
Please note that some tanks/pods are made from polycarbonate which may not be suitable for some e-liquid flavours. Some flavours might affect the structural integrity of the tank, causing it to graze or crack.

Please ensure your tank is made from a suitable material that is not affected by flavours such as Aniseed or Citrus. Pyrex, glass and suitable plastics should be suitable materials for any flavour.

Customers have reported that our Bat Juice, Blackjack, Black Ice & Pear Drops flavours may cause damage to plastic tanks, along with other similarly flavoured e-liquids.
We cannot offer refunds or replacements for damage caused by these liquids being used in unsuitable tanks/pods.


Puff counts
Please be aware that advertised puff counts are based on approximate estimates provided by the manufacturer.
We do not offer refunds or replacements on disposable units for failing to meet puff expectations.

Failed delivery 
We send our orders exclusively through recorded and signed deliveries. If you are not available to receive your items Royal Flush Vapes do not accept any liability. If your items are returned to us, we will charge a standard rate for a re-delivery. If re-delivery fails and your items are returned to us again, a 10% restocking fee will apply.


You can contact our Customer Care team before 4:30 on the day of delivery to arrange an alternative delivery date or time. 
If you request for your order to be returned to the sender a 10% restocking fee will apply.
